In large data centers whose cold air distribution system uses Down Flow technology, due to the obstacles and oppositions created under the false floor, such as cable trays and data distribution cables, as well as improper air outlets from cold wind transmission tiles, proper distribution is possible. The generated cold is not possible and usually, 20 to 40% of the cold air produced under the site floor is lost and is useless. Therefore, the need for equipment that can deliver the cold air produced from under the false floor to the equipment inside the rack is very useful and necessary.
The air distribution device inside the rack is closed in the lowest unit of the rack and its task is to transfer cold air directly from the floor of the site to the highest point of the rack. This device is used in data centers that use Down Flow technology to distribute cooling. This device is used to minimize the temperature gap between the bottom and top of the rack and helps maintain the proper air temperature in the rack by improving the airflow rate.
